General Lab Safety Manual
A lab-specific safety manual must be prepared by the lab supervisor, in consultation with EHS Research Safety. The safety manual must be enforced by the lab supervisor and made available and accessible to all lab personnel.
A lab safety manual could contain the following elements, depending on the specific work conducted in the lab:
- Emergency contact information of the Principal Investigator, Building Manager, Lab Supervisor, University Police Department (x41991 or 911), and Environment, Health and Safety Department
