Chemical Safety
The Cal-OSHA Laboratory Chemical Safety Standard is a performance-oriented standard which sets forth written requirements for procedures, equipment, personal protective equipment, and other control measures intended to protect the employees from health hazards associated with hazardous chemicals used in the laboratory. In an effort to assure compliance with the requirements of the Cal-OSHA Laboratory Chemical Safety Standard, the SDSU Chemical Hygiene Plan has been developed for implementation at SDSU.
