Announcement: Limited Services
As the university transitions to telework, Environmental Health and Safety will maintain limited services. This page will be updated to reflect the current level of services:
Research Labs and Student Health Services:
- Biohazardous Waste:
Biohazard waste pickups from the accumulation sites will continue as normal.
Lab-specific biohazard waste pickups will be conducted weekly, by request: [email protected]
- Hazardous Chemical Waste:
During this period, waste pickups will be limited to one day a week. So, expect possible delays in service and take appropriate precautions. Request a hazardous chemical waste pickup via email: [email protected].
- Radioactive Material (RAM) Waste:
Request a radioactive material waste pickup via email: [email protected]
Guidance for laboratories and research facilities performing critical research sustaining activities on-campus on cleaning common touch points and equipment.

- Industrial Safety:
