EH&S Research Safety is excited to bring you our Safe PAL and Safe LAB Programs!
Safe PAL
Anyone in a lab can be a Safe PAL! From PIs to volunteers, if you see someone doing their best to make the lab a safer place, let us know by submitting this form. EH&S won’t announce who submitted the nomination, so don’t hesitate to give someone the recognition they deserve!
Safe LAB
Our Safe LAB program is designed to recognize labs who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to safety and documentation in BioRAFT. The EH&S Research Safety Team will recognize lab groups that have:
- Members and hazards confirmed and updated
- All members training completed
- ChemTracker updated
- At least one self-inspection complete
Each semester, labs will be reviewed for the Safe LAB criteria and awarded a recognition certificate.
