SDSU is committed to providing a safe working environment for all employees. In the event of a work-related injury/illness, an employee may be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits to include: medical care, hospitalization and approved treatments, temporary and permanent disability, supplemental job displacement and death benefits.

- This dedicated injury-reporting hotline connects you with a registered nurse who will assess your injury and provide appropriate medical guidance.
- The nurse will ask questions to understand the injury, offer first-aid advice or refer you to an approved clinic, and help coordinate next steps.
- Calling the hotline ensures your injury is documented properly and initiates the necessary workers’ compensation paperwork.
