Rationale
Student Body Association Fee has not been raised since 1992 when it was increased from $10 to $15/semester (currently lowest in CSU). Other current/future needs for student body association fee funding that has been suggested in the past:
- Major Spring "Green" Festival Event
- AS Facilities sustainability upgrades
- Increased funding for student activities programming; evening/weekend programming; theme week programming; support for clubs and organizations; CASE programming [lectures, special events, film, music, etc.]
- International Study Abroad Scholarships
- Aztec Botanical Garden and Mural
- Student Legal Advising Services
