Joshua Burkhart

Josh, a native of Ramona, CA, spent the majority of his adult life working as a mechanic at a local shop in his hometown before embarking on his journey at SDSU. Alongside his professional pursuits, he passionately engages in playing the piano, a hobby he has cultivated with dedication for nine years.
Felix Santiesteban
Title: Sergeant
Department: University Police Department
Nestled in Poway with his wife and two children, Felix boasts a remarkable two-decade-long career in law enforcement, with the last 16 years dedicated to serving the San Diego Sheriff's Department. Despite his expertise in maintaining public safety, Felix finds respite and joy in his passion for equestrian sports. Yet, his primary focus outside of work is devoted to creating cherished moments through various activities with his children.
Aileen Yaomoto
Title: Retention Support Specialist
Department: University Bursar's Office
Aileen's sense of home extends wherever her family resides, and at present, she calls Chula Vista home, living with her son, daughter, and fiancé. Prior to her tenure at SDSU, she dedicated seven years to the education sector, actively supporting students in their pursuit of educational goals. In her leisure moments, Aileen finds joy in running, a cherished activity that adds a refreshing dimension to her free time.

Sean Dunaway
Title: Building Service Engineer Apprentice
Department: Facilities Services
Sean considers El Cajon home. Before joining SDSU, he was a service manager for a point-of-use water filtration company and was also a self-employed handyman. He enjoys hiking and camping and spending all his spare time lately with his 7 month old baby.
Jose Hernandez
Title: Electrician Apprentice
Department: Facilities Services
Jose calls San Diego home. Before joining SDSU, he did sales management and IT work, as well as his most recent role in the sheet metal and HVAC trade. He enjoys spending time with his daughter, whether they're at the beach or at the ice cream shop.
Aaron Corbin
Title: Locksmith
Department: Housing Facilities Services
Aaron loves calling San Diego home, he is not happy about the sunshine tax but he can’t live without it. He was a safe technician and locksmith at Grah Safe & Lock in Hillcrest. Before that he was a custodian at SDSU so he’s looking forward to seeing old coworkers. His biggest hobby is collecting and learning about modern and antique safes. He also makes experimental instruments and performs with them around San Diego.
Brenden Schroeder
Title: Locksmith Apprentice

San Diego has always been home for Brenden, and he still enjoys finding new places to go. He worked as an entrepreneur, working towards establishing a mobile auto detailing business. In his time off, Brenden enjoys working in his shop in his garage or riding dirt bikes in the desert.
Martin Perez
Title: Senior Planner, Estimator and Scheduler
Department: Facilities Services
Martin calls Chula Vista home. Before joining SDSU he was an estimator for Unique Building Group. He enjoys baseball and golf during his free time.
Samuel Asiedu
Title: Facilities Worker II
Department: Facilities Services
Samuel calls Accra Ghana, West Africa home. He was a Central Plant Operator for UCSD Health before joining SDSU. He enjoys playing soccer and hiking on his free time.
Erik Rhodes

Department: Housing Facilities Services
Erik is from Rancho Bernardo. He served in the US Navy and was the lead custodian for an elementary school before joining SDSU. He enjoys doing home improvement projects during his free time.
Diamond Lemar
Title: Accounting Technician II
Department: University Bursar's Office
Diamond was born and raised in San Diego. She was a student assistant for the University Bursar’s Office. She enjoys hiking, working out, and traveling in her free time.
