Business Services

Enterprise Technology Services

ETS provides applications development, support and solutions, technology infrastructure and integration, information security, disaster recovery, and customer computer & telecommunications support.

Facilities Management

This group oversees the maintenance and development of SDSU University facilities, including master planning, design and construction.   

Key Card & Access Services

This department manages campus keys and card access.

Parking & Transportation

Provides transportation policy and information for the campus.

Emergency Services

SDSU Emergency Services develops, implements and maintains the university's state of emergency readiness.

Environmental Health and Safety

Works with university departments to educate, facilitate and support working with and around potential hazards on campus.

IT Security Office

Manages a wide range of information security services and policies to the campus community.

Police Services

Protect the public through proactive law enforcement and to promote a safe and secure environment.

Risk Management

Risk Management program is designed to assist with identification and management of risks to the campus, including establishment of practices that will minimize potential adverse effects.

Celebrating Aztec Faculty and Staff (CAFS)

The CAFS Committee identifies and recommends celebratory experiences to recognize the institutional and individual excellence of San Diego State faculty and staff.

Employment Services

This program determines the appropriate classification and minimum qualifications required for staff and management positions and assign the positions the appropriate pay range.

Employee Relations and Compliance

Advises and guides the campus community on policy and practice related to employee relations and compliance issues.

Payroll

The Payroll staff ensures the financial integrity of the university's faculty, staff and student compensation.

This unit provides the services necessary for financial management to meet SDSU's business needs. Units include:

Budget

The Budget & Finance department is responsible for planning, analysis and management of the university’s support and capital budgets.

Business Information Systems

The department of Business Information Systems provides technical management and support for SDSU's financial (Oracle E-Business Suite and WebCenter Imaging) and HR (CMS PeopleSoft) administrative applications.

Campus Audit

The Audit & Tax department coordinates audits conducted by the CSU Office of the University Auditor and other audit agencies to ensure compliance, and proper reporting.

Financial Operations

The Financial Operations organization is responsible for the financial and budgetary controls and procedures of San Diego State University.

Procurement & Payments

Monitors expenditures of funds administered through university accounts, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.

Student Finances

Provides prompt, reliable and secure service to students, faculty, staff, alumni and others who make up the campus community.

Travel

Coordinates all campus policies and information related to business travel is located.
