Political Reform Act
The Political Reform act of 1974 requires that university employees who “are deemed to make or participate in decisions which may foreseeably have a material effect on a financial interest” of their own, must file financial disclosures indicating their interests which might fall within the “conflict of interest” category.
Each card holder must file the Statements of Economic Interests — Form 700 found at the California Fair Political Practices Commission website. Form 700 must be completed annually and turned into the SDSU Center for Human Resources.
