About Facilities Services
Facilities Services Department is a division within the Department of Business and Financial Affairs. Facilities Services is responsible for providing baseline services that are needed to operate and maintain the University’s physical assets.
Facilities Services role as the Chief Steward of the campus built environment is critical to the success of academic, scientific and athletic endeavors. To meet this important obligation we have assembled a diverse team of highly skilled facilities professionals dedicated to our service mission.
Principal services funded by the University include continuous operation of critical building systems including fire/life safety system, elevators and ADA, building environmental systems and controls, campus HVAC, and electrical distribution systems. Services include routine and preventive maintenance required to keep buildings, utilities and grounds in an acceptable and safe operating condition.
