The Payroll staff strives to ensure the financial integrity of the university's faculty, staff and student compensation.
We are responsible for the areas of payroll operations pertaining to establishing and monitoring leave accruals, maintaining the employment history database, and processing disability payments, levies, and garnishments-all in compliance with federal, state, and CSU policies.
The Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 has expired effective 12/31/2012. This act provided for a temporary reduction in the employee paid social security contribution rate from 6.2% to 4.2%.
Effective January 1, 2013, all employee’s social security contribution will be returned to the 6.2% deduction rate.
