Q2: How do I get access to the system?
A: Log into PeopleSoft. See, PeopleSoft Login, a password protected site requiring a user id and password.
If you are an SDSU employee and need your PeopleSoft account information and Password, please contact the BIS Help Desk at ext. 4-0899. It is very important that you change your password as soon as you log-in for the first time.

A: You will have Self Service access to your own Personal Data and the ability to apply for new jobs.
If you need additional access, for example, if you are a hiring manager or need access to budgeting information, you will need to complete a Security Access Request Form.
Fill out the top portion of the form (Name, Red ID, E-mail, Phone and Justification). Also, at the bottom of the form please be sure to get the appropriate signatures. Send a copy of the document via fax (ext. 4-2841) or e-mail and the rest will be done for you! You will receive an e-mail letting you know that you have received additional access.

Q4: When using Eudora I lose the screen that displays my mailboxes, how do I find them?
A: Go to the tools menu and select mailboxes. They will appear.

A: Go to webmail. Type in your username and password. In the upper right-hand corner, select options. A new window will display with your options. Under general options, click change password. Enter your old and new password. Click the apply icon above to save the new password.

Q6: How do I create an auto-reply when I'm away from my mail?
A: Go to webmail. Type in your username and password. In the upper right-hand corner, select options. A new window will display with your options. Under mail options, click auto-reply. Select yes to auto-reply to messages and complete the subject and message boxes. Click the apply icon above to save and activate your auto-reply message.

Q7: How do I sort columns in Eudora?
A: Open any mailbox you wish. At the top of your mail list you'll see titled columns such as who, date, subject. Click once on the title of the column you wish to sort your messages by and your emails will be sorted by that column.

Q8: In Meeting Maker how do I keep an open list of proxies to choose from?
A: Open Meeting Maker and select proxy from the menu. Select edit favorite proxies and select the ones you want to view on a regular basis. An easy way to select multiple calendars is to hold the ctrl key while clicking the names or resources you wish. Click on add button and then ok. When you now go to the proxy menu, you'll see all the ones you selected. To view any of these, double-click on the one you want and that proxy calendar will appear.

Q9: Can I print my Meeting Maker schedule?
A: Open Meeting Maker and select file, print schedule. From here, you can edit basic formatting for how your schedule will print. For additional formatting options, click the form options button. Once you have formatted how you want your schedule to print, click ok. Your printer options will open in a new window.

Q10: In Internet Explorer how do I sort names in favorites?
A: Click on the favorites menu to display all your favorites and folders. Right-click anywhere on the list and select sort by name.

Q11: How do I clear cache on Internet Explorer 7.0?
A: In Internet Explorer, select tools>internet options. Click "delete" and click the "delete all..." button; select the "also delete files and settings stored by add-ons" checkbox. You can keep working while the system is clearing the cache in the background. *This may slow down processing temporarily but will speed up overall Internet performance.
