Voluntary Insurance Programs

The California State University (CSU) offers its employees insurance for auto, home, renters, condo, RV, motorcycle, boat, etc.,  through California Casualty. This employee-paid voluntary plan allows CSU employees to make automatic payments through payroll deduction. All employees are eligible to participate.

Home Loan Program

The CalPERS Home Loan Program offers a variety of loan options to help you purchase your new home, or refinance your existing one. There is no requirement to be a first-time home buyer, no minimum vesting requirement, and you are eligible for the program on your first day of employment.

The CalPERS Member Home Loan Program is managed by CitiMortgage. Call 800-874-7377 if you would like to talk to a customer relations representative.

Mortgage Assistance

CSU offers a special mortgage program through CitiMortgage that is primarily targeted to assist moderate to low income households and employees making investments in moderate to low income census tracts as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Employees that purchase or refinance their homes through CitiMortgage will be eligible to receive either a credit at closing of the application fee paid at the time of origination, or a credit of the appraisal and credit report fees if an application fee is not collected.
