Employees are eligible for benefits if appointed half-time (.5) or more for a period of more than six (6) months.
Tenure-track Faculty are eligible for benefits if appointed at least half-time (.5) or more for at least 6 months and 1 day (equivalent to 7.5 Weighted Teaching Units for academic year appointments).
Coaches (with an academic year position) and Lecturers are eligible for benefits if appointed with a time base of at least .4 for at least one semester (equivalent to 6 Weighted Teaching Units).
Employees appointed on an hourly, intermittent basis DO NOT qualify for benefits.
