FOOT HAZARDS

  • Safety shoes and boots with impact protection, recommend steel toe or metacarpal.
COMPRESSION INJURY — working around heavy objects or equipment that could crush feet.
  • Material handling carts, bulk rolls, heavy pipes
  • Safety shoes and boot with compression protection, recommend steal toe or metacarpal.
PUNCTURE
  • Construction sites where nails, screws, tacks, wires, scrap metal could be stepped on
  • Safety shoes and boots with puncture protection, recommend reinforced sole footwear.
CHEMICALS
  • Chemical spill clean up
  • Neoprene or rubber boots
ELECTRICAL
  • Work around electrically energized parts
  • Footwear for protection against electrical hazards, recommend: electrostatic dissipating footwear, or electrical hazard footwear.
