SCOPE The SDSU Lockout/Tagout Program is designed to comply with Federal and State OSHA standards governing control of energized sources, as well as applicable sections of electrical safety standards. These include the Federal OSHA regulations in CFR §1910.147 (Control of Hazardous Energy) and 29 CFR §1910.333 (Electrical Safety Standards — Selection and Use of Work Practices). The program is also designed to comply with applicable Cal/OSHA regulations, including the following sections of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations: §3203. Injury and Illness Prevention Program, The Lockout/Tagout Program applies to operations involving hazardous energy sources, including but not limited to the following:
