Rationale

Student Body Association Fee has not been raised since 1992 when it was increased from $10 to $15/semester (currently lowest in CSU). Other current/future needs for student body association fee funding that has been suggested in the past:

  1. Major Spring "Green" Festival Event
  2. AS Facilities sustainability upgrades
  3. Increased funding for student activities programming; evening/weekend programming; theme week programming; support for clubs and organizations; CASE programming [lectures, special events, film, music, etc.]
  4. International Study Abroad Scholarships
  5. Aztec Botanical Garden and Mural
  6. Student Legal Advising Services
