SCHOOL OF EXERCISE AND NUTRITIONAL SCIENCESPart-time and Temporary Lecturers The Department of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences is accepting applications for its pool of part-time and temporary lecturers to teach courses in the following areas: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Fitness, and Nutritional Sciences. Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in appropriate field. Salary commensurate with credentials and experience, according to University policy. PHYSICAL EDUCATION PEDAGOGY POSITION: Assistant Professor, tenure-track opening in physical education pedagogy beginning August, 2009. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach primarily undergraduate courses in physical education QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in physical education pedagogy, with a focus on secondary physical education. Additional expertise desirable in physical activity programming in urban, multicultural settings; physical activity and health promotion; or psychological aspects of sports and exercise for adolescents. Full time K-12 teaching experience preferable. Demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, service, and mentoring students. SALARY: Commensurate with credentials and experience. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences has 20 full-time faculty, 35 part-time faculty, 5.5 support staff, and about 1450 undergraduate Kinesiology
majors, 250 undergraduate Foods and Nutrition majors, and 70 graduate students. The School is
housed in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, one of seven colleges that serve a
