Part-Time and Temporary Lecturers The Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies is accepting applications for its pool of part-time and temporary lecturers to teach one or more courses as follows: Mexican American Heritage, Introduction to Mexican American Studies, Oral Communication, Written Communication, Mexican American Role in the Political System, History of United States, Political Economy of Chicano People, Mexican American Community Studies, Mexican and Chicano Music, Mexican American Life Styles, Mexican American Literature, Women’s History, Chicano History, U.S.-México International Border, Mexican American Culture and Thought, U.S.-México Border Folklore, Chicano Prose: Creative Writing, , Mexican Images in Film, and The Mexican American and the Schools. Minimum qualifications include an M.A. in appropriate field. Salary commensurate with credentials and experience, and according to University policy.
