Approval Is MandatoryMurals on interior or exterior walls of campus structures are permitted through the approval of the President with a recommendation from Facilities Planning & Management and The Campus Development Committee (SDSU Senate). Maintenance ResponsibilityOnce approved, the installation of the mural and its continued maintenance are the responsibility of the requesting department. If the department relinquishes this area, the cost of removing the mural will be their responsibility unless the incoming department requests that it remain. The incoming department must also maintain the mural in good condition.
