Fire Hazards

Combustible Materials

The State Fire Marshal requires that all buildings and premises remain free of all extraneous combustible materials. Possible fire hazards should be reported to the Work Control Center (ext. 44754) or e-mail or Public Safety (ext. 41991).

Obstructions

No obstruction is to be placed in any aisle, exit foyer, access ramp, passageway or corridor.

Doors

Stairway, hall, and fire doors must never be tied or propped open. These doors are intended to lessen the spread of fire, smoke, or fumes, and therefore must remain closed at all times.
