	Excavation Permits & Policies
	Excavation Access Permits are mandatory. Prior to any excavation project or work project requiring access to a manhole, roof, ceiling, mechanical or elevator room, an excavation/access permit must be obtained from Physical Plant. Request Procedure Requests for excavation/access permits should be submitted to the Work Control Center (ext. 4-4754) or email on a Service Request with a complete explanation of the proposed work. Note: documents in Portable Document Format (PDF) require Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher to view; download Adobe Acrobat Reader.
