Master Clock System — Service & Replacement

Physical Plant provides maintenance to all campus facility clocks. While there are still a few of the older type “electric pulse” clocks in use, most of the campus clocks have been converted to a battery powered unit. These battery clocks are synchronized to a central transmission, via radio frequency. The batteries in these new clocks only need to be replaced, every five years.
