Project Description

The SDSU Transit Center has been renovated with new lights mounted across the top of the station. Brickwork and paver installation inside the station has been completed. Contractors have completed stone installation on the north wall of the station’s exterior. Inside the station crews installed glass and handrails. Metal panels for the escalator have also been installed. Upon completion of fire alarm and firefighter phone testing, and landscaping the tunnel was opened to the public in 2005.
