Tennis courts at SDSU

Project Description

The new athletics complex includes tennis courts, softball fields, swimming pools, office space, rest room facilities, extensive landscaping and parking. The Tennis and Softball Complex will provide high-quality, permanent facilities for the men’s and women’s intercollegiate tennis teams and the women’s intercollegiate softball team. Twelve full-size, lighted tennis courts and a 3,300 square foot Tennis Center building are made available to students, faculty and staff, when not being used by the athletes. Located on the northwest side of campus, the tennis courts seat 1,000 spectators. See the Campus Recreation web page for hours of operation and directions.

Softball field and dugouts

The Softball Stadium complex, adjacent to Tony Gwynn Stadium features a lighted, natural-grass field, dugouts, and seating for 300 spectators. See Campus Recreation for intramural sports information.

Site improvements include new landscaping, sidewalks, night lighting and 80-vehicle parking lot (R Lot).
