Project Description

Constructed on the west side of campus, the site occupies 125,000 square feet. The facility hosts three pools: 50 meter Olympic pool; 7,500 square feet recreational pool; and 20-person, hydrotherapy spa. Adjacent to the pools is a 4,985 square feet building complex with showers, locker rooms, restrooms, administrative offices, member services, storage and support facilities. Mechanical equipment supporting the three pools is housed in a 2,115 square feet machine room.

Site improvements include new landscaping, lighting, sidewalks, and parking (see R Lot). The facility is operated and managed by Associated Students. Memberships are available through the Aztec Recreation Center, in addition to day passes. See the Campus Recreation web site for details.
