Tuition and Fees
The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Tuition
and Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to
be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve
the right, even after initial tuition and fee payments are made, to increase
or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction
for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should
be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The
Board of Trustees.
Student tuition and fee rates may be determined by several sources.
• The California legislature
• The California State University Board of Trustees
• University President
• Campus Fee Advisory committee
• Student Fee Referendum or Alternative Consultation
Tuition and fees paid during a semester may include Basic Tuition, mandatory
campus fees, Nonresident Tuition, Professional Program fees, Course fees
and Parking fees. Other miscellaneous fees may be charged to a student
