	Enterprise Rent-a-Car
	The Contract In early 2004, San Diego State University entered into a three-year contract with Enterprise Rent-a-car. SDSU faculty and staff may now, at excellent rates, rent vehicles for university-related business or personal use. The contract includes pick-up and delivery to and from SDSU, loss/damage waiver, and $1,000,000.00 combined single limit. Vehicles available for rental include both cars and trucks (24-foot straight trucks, 15-foot high cube trucks, 24-foot stake beds and 14- & 16-foot stake beds). To take advantage of the Enterprise contract, just go online to the SDSU Enterprise Web site links listed below and enter the appropriate access code. Note: access code information is available from the Accounts Payable, Contract Travel Coordinator at ext. 4-3778. SDSU Enterprise Links Southern California National If the rental car is used for personal use, the employee must pay by using a personal credit card. Employees may also access special rates via 800-Rent-a-car or contact the local branch at 619-229-2300. The branch is located at 4930 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, CA 92115. You will need to furnish the following items when picking up your rental vehicle: University ID Driver's License A copy of the T2: Request for Absence from Campus (if renting vehicle for university business) Note: for state business travel, additional insurance charges (CDW, PAI, SLP) accepted by an employee are not reimbursable by using state funds. [return] Van Pool Vehicles The Enterprise contract also allows the university to lease van pool vehicles at low rates including a $400/month/vehicle SANDAG subsidy.
