Eudora Configuration

Recommended Settings

 

 
RECOMMENDED EUDORA SETTINGS
Last Updated 03/30/2006
Install Eudora Ver. 6.2 or higher:

1. Archive old email directory to CD, Zip, or Floppy Diskette
2. Do not save to hard drives or to the server
3. Remove old version via “Add/Remove Programs”
4. Install new version from “Install Shortcuts”
5. Do not install PureVoice or Importers
6. Restore mail boxes, nick names, signatures, etc. from backup
7. Grant full control of Eudora directory to user's local profile
8. Logout of administrator account and log on user's account

Proceed with configuration, taking all default settings, except for the following...
