Department Overview

Responsibilities

 

Administrative Desktop Services (ADS) is a department of the IT Security Office (ITSO), under Financial Operations, Enterprise Technology Services, in the Division of Business and Financial Affairs. ADS is responsible for:

  • Support of Division workstations — Windows platform
  • Workstation client/server interface, including data backup and recovery
  • Workstation system and application security
  • Installation of Business and Financial Affairs standard software and operating system
  • Upgrades to standard software and operating system
  • Workstation and printer inventory
  • Analysis and development of Business and Financial Affairs system procedures
  • Review of selection of vendor-written system specifications
